Thanksgiving and Nee's 80th Birthday

Last weekend, we got together with Nana's family and had our Thanksgiving. We have it at the Dodson Lodge in Centerville, TN, which allows for plenty of room for the adults to enjoy socializing while the children have plenty of room to run off some energy outside. It was so wonderful seeing all of our family! We also got to celebrate Nee's 80th birthday, which was November 8 (along with Mommy and Daddy's 4th anniversary). She had several special friends come by to enjoy some cake with her. What a great day!!!!

Of course, Abigail and Ansley loved all of the rocking chairs. There was probably 100 to choose from. They love to sing "If you are happy and you know it." Abigail is showing us that her face is "surely showing it!"

You might be a redneck if...you watch the UT vs. AR game off the front porch out of the back of a car! :) Unfortunately, the girls didn't cheer hard enough. It wasn't the prettiest game to watch for the Razorbacks! (Thanks, Peepaw, for the redneck joke! ;) )

We were worn out after a long day! (Someone is supposed to be asleep, but I think she was peeking!)

Unfortunately, it was a bad weekend for football for our teams...maybe next weekend will be better! (Those look like some tired cheerleaders!)

We are looking forward to our other Thanksgiving celebrations with the rest of our famililes!
