A Weekend with Friends and Family

Last weekend, Abigail and Ansley went to visit with Grammy and Peepaw, and their cousin Jordan got to visit too. So we headed to Tupelo to visit with our dear friends Angie and Brad. We had the best time catching up since we haven't seen them since last summer. On Saturday, we went to the Ole Miss vs. Arkansas game and had lots of fun. The weather was perfect and Arkansas managed to win their first SEC game of the year. After we got home, Brad and Angie made us the most delicious dinner, and we watched some more football. After church, a delicious Mexican buffet, and an exciting Titans game, we met Grammy and Peepaw in Jackson to pick up Abigail and Ansley. We were so excited to see them! It was so great having an adult weekend, but we couldn't help but miss them!!!

We forgot to mention Dr. Brad's biology lesson. Did you know if you draw blood and leave it in a container overnight, then it will clot on it's own? Ok. Maybe we are huge nerds and had nothing better to do, but we thoroughly enjoyed his doctor stories and health classes. He even "worked on" Eric's back. Notice that it was all under Angie's supervision! :)

We can't wait to head back to Tupelo for our next visit when we will get to meet Miss Emily coming January 2008! We can't wait! They will be such wonderful parents!

We said our "thank you's and farewells" to Grammy and Peepaw. We wish we had more pictures of their fun weekend, but we'll have to get those from Grammy later.
