Pumpkin Fest 2007 and Trunk or Treat

We had a very busy day last Saturday. We headed to downtown Franklin to enjoy Pumpkin Fest and later that evening we enjoyed Abigail and Ansley's first Trunk or Treat at church.

We had a great time at this year's Pumpkin Fest. It was a little different than last year. Last year we enjoyed strolling around with the girls all bundled up in their stroller. This year we "enjoyed" chasing the girls around since they were determined to get out of their stroller! Abigail and Ansley's favorites were the yummy pizza, Mommy and Daddy's curly fries, and the petting zoo. (We also got to see sweet little Isabella Hogg...she is so beautiful!!!)

(The picture below is significant because it is a rare occurrence. Now that the girls are walking everywhere, we are extra busy. It is rare that they are ever walking or standing in the same vicinity of each other. Typically, they are going in complete opposite directions. I got this picture as they decided to pass each other and trade directions. We are definitely getting our exercise!)

(The girls love the animals and are maybe too friendly with them. I am convinced that they have no fear!...they must get that from their Daddy!)

Trying to get a cute picture...they couldn't decide who would sit or stand when...so we ended up with the see-saw effect!

Trunk or Treat was lots of fun. All of the homemade chili's were delicious, and all of the children looked precious in their costumes. Abigail and Ansley loved playing in the other children's candy and trying to run through the parking lot...instead of "Trunk or Treating!" :)
