6 Month Check Up

We had Abigail and Ansley's six month check up yesterday. Dr. Morel said they are perfect! We already knew that, but it's so nice to hear it from the pediatrician too! :) Abigail weighed 10 lbs 4 oz and was 22 inches. Ansley weighed 10 lbs 8 oz and was 22 1/4 inches. Can you believe we have two ten pound babies now?! They also had to have their shots. It took the nurse a while to get back to the room after the doctor was in there. The girls, being exhausted from daycare, fell asleep on the table. We had to wake them up for their shots. How pitiful! Fortunately, after their shots and all of the screaming, they fell right back asleep. Poor things! This time they got five each. We could tell they were still pretty sore this morning because they didn't like their little legs to be bumped. Tylenol is a wonderful thing! We go back in a few weeks for their other flu shot and their next RSV shot. We could do without this part of parenthood!

Last Friday, we went back to Centennial Hospital for Abigail and Ansley's follow up NICU developmental clinic. The doctors and therapists told us that they are right on track for a three month old, which is how old they should be. We were so thankful to hear that they were doing well. We go back again in a few months for another clinic.

Praise the Lord for Abigail and Ansley's health!!! We have been blessed with two beautiful, healthy babies, despite their rocky start!!! Thanks to everyone for all of the prayers!!!
