Soccer Game...from Different Points of Views
Abigail and Ansley had another soccer game on Saturday. It was much colder and very wet, but they both had fun. It has been interesting watching both girls enjoy soccer in different ways. Abigail scored her first goal during the game. When we were talking about it in the car, Ansley was just as excited about her goals that she had scored during warm ups. We were so proud of both of them! Abigail enjoys being extra energetic during the game and runs nonstop. Where ever the ball goes, she goes...with the biggest smile on her face the entire time. Ansley, on the other hand, walks around on the field, in no hurry to get to the ball...but does follow where it is. Her smile vanishes the minute the actual game starts. She is so happy during warm ups, and we are thinking she will still be excited during the game. We think that she is just a little more shy and gets nervous with everyone yelling and watching the game. She is not big on noise...but we know neither girl is very shy. :)
Ansley all smiles before the game, warming up, and scoring goals.
During the game, it's different. The smile is gone. She prefers to sit in the chair on the sideline or walk with her coach on the field. The frown doesn't leave her face until the game is over.

Abigail...all smiles...running after the ball.
This is more of a side by side comparison of the different outlooks on the game. No need to let you know who is who...just look at the different facial expressions!
Although they each have their own outlook on the game, they still start each play and end each play side by side. They always lookout for each other. I am so glad that they love each other so much!

Poor little Ansley! I can totally sympathize, sweet girl! We'll sneak off when the game starts and go get ice cream together! ;)
