We are very sorry that we haven't posted since Sunday. We hope you all understand. I wanted to give you an update while we had time.
First of all, both girls are gaining weight. Last night Ansley weighed 4 lbs, 7.7 oz. Abigail weighed 4lb, 15.6 oz. We are expecting to have a 5 pound baby this evening!!! Both girls have been moved to 3 feedings per day by bottle.
When we go to feed them both today at 3:00, we will be visiting unfamiliar territory in the NICU....................................................................................................................................................
We just got a call that Abigail and Ansley have been moved to the Step-Down unit!!! This means they are no longer considered high-risk. Don't get too excited. They will still be watched over very closely, it's really just to help them rest better so they can grow. This part of the nursery is a little more quiet. There are fewer monitors going off, fewer people walking by, allowing the babies to rest and grow.
We will see if Abigail will allow them to put her back in the same crib as her sister.....
Daddy
P.S. We just got home from the hospital. We are proud to announce that we have a 5 pound baby!! Abigail weighed 5 lbs, 1 oz and Ansley weighed 4 lbs, 7.8 oz.

What wonderful news! Your girls are growing so nicely now. The step-down unit will be really good for them and the both of you. God is really taking care of your precious family. We continue to remember them daily and pray for more good news!
