So much to write about since our last post.....
First of all, Abigail and Ansley both want us to tell you that they are both breathing with NO assistance!!!! Abigail's cannula was taken away Saturday and Ansley lost hers on Sunday morning. They are both doing very well breathing on their own. We are very proud.
Second, today was the girls' first time to try to nurse. Both the NICU nurses and Lactation gave them both A+'s! They were awesome.
Over the weekend, we expected the girls to be put in the same bed again. Abigail has other plans in mind. She must not be as excited about sleeping with her sister as her parents and nurses are!! She has not been able to keep her temperature up enough to get out of the warm isolette. If you look at the two of them, you would think it was Ansley who had temperature problems, not her chubbier sister.
Thank you for your continued support as we approach our family's homecoming.
