After showing great improvement on Friday and Saturday with decreased or no spells in 24 hour periods, Sunday the girls decided to make the day a little harder on their nurse. Sunday afternoon Rebecca and I were able to give the girls their baths. Abigail was first. She did very well and we started giving Anlsley her bath. While bathing Ansley, Abigail's monitors started going crazy. The nurse found that a bandaid that was around her nose was lodged in her airway!! After removing the bandaid, Abigail did great. Ansley was also great during her bath and now both girls are clean for a little while.

I called the nurse at 9:45 to check their weights and she said that both girls were doing great again and neither had given her any problems in the three hours she had them.

Abigail weighed in at 3lbs even!! Ansley is not far behind and catching up at 2lbs, 10 oz. The doctor ordered both girls be given increased amounts of milk every three hours. They are both doing extremely well with their feedings. A full feeding is 15 ml per feed. Abigail is now at 10 and Ansley is at 9.

Please pray that the girls continue to gain weight and have decreased apnea spells.
