Today Abigail and Ansley were moved to their new beds. They are now in incubators, also called by their brand names "isolettes". These beds are used to keep the girls warm and keep out germs and hospital noises, which are very frustrating for preemies. When they are no longer on the CPAPs, they will be able to co-bed (share a bed). The girls appear to be more comfortable in their new homes.

Both girls were also able to have four feedings of Mommy's milk.

Another first today...Daddy got to hold one of the girls. He got to hold Abigail today while Mommy held Ansley. We were able to get our first family picture. Both Abigail and Ansley enjoyed being out of their beds a while and spending time with the family.

Both girls showed remarkable improvement with their spells. Ansley only had 4 spells in the 24 hour period while Abigail only had 1!!! They were able to come out of all of these spells on their own with no stimulation from the nurses.

There was also another addition to the family yesterday (May 1). Annalise Lynn O'Guin was welcomed into the world by her proud parents Brandon and Chanda. We got to visit them tonight. Annalise is absolutely perfect...and so adorable! We can't wait for the girls to meet!
