Goodbye Paci's!
Abigail and Ansley have officially gotten rid of the pacifiers (as of Sunday night). We told them we "sent them to baby Sloane" in Little Rock for when she is born. This is the girls' cousin who should be arriving within the next month. Oddly enough, this has gone well so far. They are evidently excited to share with her. They have only been using their pacifiers at night for about the past year. When they get out of bed, they had to put them away. These pacifiers have been with them since they were in the NICU. Once known as "papis", these "pacis" have gotten us through many nights sleep.
Enjoying the last few moments with their pacifiers

This is the day before they came home from the hospital. Those pacifiers have been through a lot!
They are so proud that they are such big girls now. They are determined to wear their big girl panties. Last night, we spent about 2 hours in the bathroom putting pullups on and off, getting up and down off the potty. They were so determined! At least they are interested in it now! On to our next stage in life! :) Below are a few pictures from our night on and off the potty. I wonder why they aren't getting the hang of this? Maybe they are having too much fun?!
They insist on having their potties right next to each other.
Abigail is pretending that she is asleep on the potty.

They are too funny!! Sophi gave up her paci pretty easy too, what a relief! And good luck with potty training. Maybe they will encourage each other along the way. :)
