New weights for today: Abigail- 5 lbs even. Ansley- 4lbs, 13.5 oz. The nurses are doing their best to get Abigail in a crib tonight. There is a crib out in the hall on hold with their names on it!!! They also took the feeding tubes out of their mouths and put a new tube in their nose that makes life easier on them. With this new tube, they don't have to take out the tube to bottle feed an then put it back in to tube feed. The new tube will stay in their noses at all times. This tube also allows the nurses to measure how much milk the girls are eating after each time they nurse. They both did very well nursing again today. Hopefully, we'll have some cute pictures of the girls sharing a bed soon! We are beginning to think that Abigail just doesn't want to share a bed. We may have to give up on the co-bedding idea and give each girl their own! :)
