Bed Buddies
Today was an exciting day! When we arrived at the hospital this morning, both girls were tucked snuggly in their cribs. The nurse had taken both girls' temperatures. Abigail was finally warm enough, but she had made Ansley too warm. Both girls' clothes were wet from sweat. So we had to strip Ansley down to less clothes. We met with Gloria from lactation and Holly, the Speech Therapist. Both girls did excellent on their feedings.
When we arrived at the hospital tonight, we learned that one of the girls had filled her diaper and had managed to wet the bed...along with her sister. It looks like there are some disadvantages of co-bedding. So, of course, the bed and both girls had to be changed. Ansley showed off for her Uncle Matthew and quickly gobbled up her bottle. Abigail wasn't in the mood to eat. She just wanted to snuggle with her Granny.
There was weight gain with both girls.... Abigail weighed 5 lbs, 1 oz & Ansley weighed 4 lbs, 14 oz. She is catching up and you can really tell. They are both looking so much alike as they put the weight on.

Before you know it the beauties will be home. I love reading about the girls and looking at their adorable pictures. Abigail and Ansley couldn't have been granted two greater people for parents. Keep up the good work!

YAY!!! That's fabulous news!! I'm going to see if Nate will take his laptop with us, so I can check up on them while we're in Florida!! Maybe if you grind up some milk and Honey Bunches of Oats (our favorite!) they'll gobble that down too and gain even more! hehe! Love you!
