Thanksgiving 2008

Daddy's family arrived on Wednesday. Uncle Nathan and Daddy got to escape for a little while to go to the Vandy basketball game. Thursday morning, us children woke everyone up bright and early, the gals started cooking, and everyone enjoyed watching some of the parade. Then we all loaded up and headed to Nana and Papa Bear's house to enjoy a huge Thanksgiving feast with Papa Bear's side of the family, Nee and Tom, and "Aunt Amy." Later that night, Grammy and Peepaw agreed to watch the three little ones so Uncle Nathan, Aunt Jennifer, Daddy, and Mommy could enjoy a night out at the movies! On Friday, we all went to see "Bolt." This was our first movie to go to, and we did pretty well sitting still. Saturday was another relaxing day, closed out by a surprise party for Daddy. He will turn the big 3-0 in December, but Mommy thought we needed to celebrate when his family could be here too. (Pictures to come.) Sunday was exciting for Mommy since we could start wearing some of our Christmassy outfits that she had been stashing up from last year's sales. We had such a wonderful time these past few days spending so much time with our families. We are so blessed to have such amazing great grandparents, grandparents, parents, aunts, and uncles that we enjoy spending time with. We

Nee brought us a princess tea set. We always enjoy playing with the tea set at her house and didn't have one of our own yet. Thank you, Nee! We love it!

"Aunt Amy" got to spend Thanksgiving with us since she wasn't able to go home to Oklahoma. We really enjoyed her company. She is always spoiling us with neat gifts! We always love spending time with her!

We were blessed to have both Mommy and Daddy's families at Thanksgiving this year. Here is us with all of our aunts and uncles and then with our grandparents.
