Christmas at OpryMills and Opryland
We took the girls to "Papa Bear's store" (aka Bass Pro Shops) to see Santa. We had already seen Santa once this year, but I don't think it's possible to spend too much time with him. As we were walking in, the girls spotted this four wheeler and thought their Papa Bear should buy them one. What do you think?!
Bass Pro Shops has the neatest Christmas village. There are toys for the kids to play with and the cutest decorations. Abigail and Ansley wanted to get a picture with Frosty.
Daddy showed them how to do the racecars.
The girls were excited to see Santa up close. They especially liked this set up because they didn't have to sit in his lap.
We walked around the mall for a while, and Camdyn loved looking at everything...but he got tired pretty quickly and snuck in a nap.
We then ventured over to eat at Cock of the Walk and then to see the decorations at Opryland Hotel.
Picture in front of the famous Christmas tree in the Delta.
Checking the tree out from the 3rd floor. Can you tell they aren't scared of heights like their mom?!
When we walked into the hotel, both of the girls said, "Oh! I remember this place! We did flips here yesterday!" ('Yesterday' refers to anything that has happened in the past at our house.) We couldn't believe the girls remembered going to the hotel last Christmas or that Daddy did flips with them in the hall. For old times sake, we turned a few more flips.
Trying out the huge rocker at Cock of the Walk.
Someone was really tired from all of our activities! Ansley must have gotten out of bed and wondered upstairs but couldn't quite make it. This is where I found her!
The girls performed one of their favorite songs for us before we left. "I'm Getting Nothing for Christmas" I am not sure it would still be one of their favorites if they really thought they weren't getting anything for Christmas! (Sorry it's sideways.)
