Christmas in Arkansas

We had a wonderful Christmas in Arkansas. Santa even came by for a special visit the night that we arrived.
Ansley ran and hid under the dining room table and was crying. So pitiful! Surely she doesn't get that fear of Santa from her mom?! Both girls were timid at first but eventually warmed up to him.

The little ones gathered around Santa to see what he had in his big bag. Camdyn was snoozing with Mrs. Betty. I don't think he even knew Santa was there!
We had a wonderful time watching all of the little ones opening their gifts. There was A LOT of excitement!

We had Christmas with the whole Johns gang also. The children got to do some holiday crafts and made some cute ornaments. Abigail, Ansley, and Benson get along so well! It's so sweet seeing them playing together and enjoying each other so much. Abigail and Ansley were introduced to the Black Eyed Peas while we were there and now love several of their songs. Did I mention the dance parties that most everyone joined in on? Abigail and Ansley thought it was the greatest!

4 generations of Johns men! (Peepaw, Eric, Camdyn, and Grandpa Johns)

4 generations with the girls included. They LOVE Great Grandpa "Flabil" (Flavil)
While we were there, Aunt Nay Nay got to give the girls their first haircuts. It's convenient having a "professional" in the family. She is so talented. They were concerned, at first, that it was going to hurt, but they did well. It's probably the longest the girls have ever stayed in one spot. They were so proud of their hair!

Although Camdyn wasn't really excited about the picture, we got a picture of the little ones dressed up for church on Sunday morning. (We missed you, Jordan!)

Poor Camdyn!

Poor Camdyn AGAIN! The girls got this little pack n play for their baby dolls, despite the pink, it fit him pretty well!

Ansley requested for her picture to be taken with her buddy. So, of course, I agreed!

We visited Grammy at work, and the girls ended up with several stickers. So they pretended to play cards.

Braeden even got to join us for a few days so he and Daddy could go hunting while we were there. Somehow, he escaped the pictures though!
What a great start to the holidays!
