Weekend in Arkansas

We had a fun weekend in Arkansas celebrating cousin Jordyn's 15th and Great Grandpa Johns' 92nd birthdays and spending time with family!

The little ones enjoyed playing on the "slick 'n slide" and in the swimming pool while the adults watched and laughed.

Daddy enjoyed bath time with the little ones

Somehow Uncle What's Up's lap was the most popular place to sit all weekend.

Couldn't resist this picture of Sloane

The little ones enjoyed this picnic table that was in the kitchen, but they both liked to sit by Benson. Good thing it didn't flip!

Jordyn and Abigail and Ansley
(Both of our girls are EXTREMELY allergic to mosquito bites. Poor Abigail got eaten alive, despite our efforts with Off. Hence, the calamine lotion all over her body.)
Happy 15th Birthday, Jo Jo! We love you!
On the way back home, we took a minute to stop to eat. Of course, they had to get a picture with "Donald McDonald." They are trying to stand like he is.
Fortunately, the ride home was a little less eventful than the ride to Arkansas. We couldn't leave Nashville until about 7:30 because they had soccer camp. About 30 minutes from Grammy and Peepaw's house, Ansley got sick all in the car. It was quite interesting trying to clean the car and fight the unbelievable mosquitos in the parking lot. Despite our efforts of keeping the stomach bug with just Abigail, it struck Ansley exactly a week later. We just thought she was over the worst of it. Thank goodness it was her last "episode" with the bug.
