Soccer Camp

Abigail and Ansley had soccer camp last week. By the end of the week, I felt pretty good about it. The first day was a little rough because the girls wanted to socialize with everyone there. When the coach yelled "Water break!", both girls quickly ran up to him and said "We have gatorade." So the rest of the week, it was "Water and gatorade break!" It was super hot and a couple of the days it stormed and we were in the gym, which the girls didn't like because it was too loud. By Friday, both girls seemed to really enjoy playing and being a part of the camp. However, when it came time for the scrimmage, both of them got very upset that everyone didn't have their own ball. We are looking forward to seeing how it goes this fall!

Day #1:
I couldn't get a smile out of Ansley the entire time...until it was over.

Day 4:

Day 5:

They did require a few pep talks from Daddy. They didn't like when someone would get their ball. There was also a game that they refused to play after the first day...each child has a tail in their shorts and you chase each other around to get it. When your tail is pulled, you are out and have to sit down. Well, they actually did good the first couple of days, but, after that, they were furious when someone would get their tail. The ended up sitting out of the game the rest of the week. We tried so hard to get them to go back in, but they refused.

So proud of their paper and new shirt!
