December Activities

December has been busy with lots of Christmas activities, birthday parties, and more. Abigail and Ansley had lots of fun at Ally's birthday party which was at The Monkey's Treehouse. They enjoyed dressing up with the different outfits. Ansley spent most of her time carrying around a baby she found. It didn't matter what she was playing with, that baby was right beside her. You will see it in the pictures below. They enjoyed driving each other around in the truck. And Abigail enjoyed climbing the net to go down the slides, over and over again.

The next day we went to Campbell's birthday party at Pump It Up. Abigail and Ansley had lots of fun on the giant inflatables. I was absolutely exhausted when the party was over because Daddy couldn't make it until the end (He had to go cheer on the Titans. :) ). There were so many sweet people that helped me get the girls through the mazes and slides. They must have noticed that I was out of breath and sweating like crazy! :) For the most part, the girls were fearless, which made me very fearful, but it is a great place for a children's party...ok, and for an adult! Lots of fun was had by all!
Waiting to go down the first slide
Mrs. Chris Anne was so sweet to let the girls look at the picture on her camera! And, of course, the cake was yummy!

Cheeeeeeese!
Out of no where, we had our first snow for the year. It had been raining all day while we were at work, and it was SO cold. We all met to eat after work and started to go toward home. As we headed south on the interstate, it started to look more and more like a winter wonderland. While Mommy went to the store and tried to get home for almost two hours, Daddy and the girls played in the snow.
The next night, the girls were able to get out and play a little more. Most of it had already melted.
We had several friends come over that night. Aunt Jennifer also came and brought the girls some small colorful trees, plastic ornaments, and beads to play with. I think all of the children played with them at some point during the night.
Almost all of the children eating their pizza. I think Will and Sophie were too busy playing!
