Teeth, Trouble, and Tears
Whew! What an interesting few weeks it has been! A couple of weeks ago, neither Abigail nor Ansley had any teeth. As of today, each one has FOUR! We have been so fortunate that both girls have slept through the night by the time that they were about four months. However, during this teething marathon that we have been having, both of them wake up several times during the night...and, of course, it's never at the same time! So all of four of us have been pretty tired lately. We miss those tearless nights!
Their teeth are really cute! Our first tooth belonged to Ansley, and it was one of her bottom teeth. A few days later, Abigail cut one of her top teeth. A few days later, Ansley had another bottom. A few days later, Abigail had another top tooth. It was funny to watch them start popping through. Their teachers at daycare laughed because it made it real easy to tell them apart because one had her top teeth and the other had her bottom...and then the others started coming in too. We don't have any pictures because they barely even let us look at them, but, hopefully, we'll be able to catch a picture soon!
Abigail and Ansley are learning new things every day! We laugh at the things they catch on to. They will pick up their brush when Mommy or Daddy finishes with their hair, and they try to do it themselves. They love to help "load" and "unload" the dishwasher. They have both mastered pulling up, and Ansley will even stand a little on her own. They are beginning to play together, which might mean that they crawl full speed ahead toward each other and then bump heads when they meet in the middle, try to pull each other's diaper off, try to stomp on each other as they crawl, or steal a pacifier out of the other's mouth and throwing it...even though they both already have one! They are both extremely energetic and keep us laughing every minute. We know it will only get worse...but we are experiencing the "double trouble" of twins. However, along with the double trouble comes double joy so, for that, we are so thankful!
Mommy and Daddy's little helpers!
These were too cute not to share. We opened the curtains and blinds in their room, and they loved looking out the front window. So, of course, Mommy had to run outside for the Kodak moment!

Hey Bec! For some reason your blog just updated on my computer and I went all the way back to the Angie and Brad post! You have the cutest pictures! So teeth are coming in, huh? :) I can not wait to see a picture of them, because they are the cutest when they start getting them! I'll never forget when my nephew Spencer got his at first, I was like what the heck is that? It changes their whole look and is so precious! Happy 4th of July!! Love you!

They are the cutest babies!! I love seeing pictures of them. The one of them looking out the window is hilarious. I can't wait for teeth (as long as he still sleeps through the night:)). Alex has been gnawing and drooling forever now it seems but still has nothing to show for it.
