Special Time in Tupelo
We enjoyed Brad's yummy cooking...he even made fried green tomatoes that were picked straight from the vine outside and some delicious grilled chicken legs! Daddy was in charge of the sweet tea, which is his specialty...if you like it extra sweet! Ansley liked to make sure that we had everything that we needed out of the cabinets. Poor Belle and Beau! The girls would chase them through the kitchen and wouldn't leave them alone the entire weekend!
We enjoyed special time with both of their families. Ms. Alice (Angie's mom) came over to play on Saturday and to watch the girls on Sunday while the adults went to lunch. Pappy (Angie's grandfather) came over to visit with us, and then we went to his house to also visit with Grandmother (Angie's grandmother). She gave each of the girls one of her special pillows that she makes. What a special gift! We also got to go visit with Brad's family for a little while.

(We are sad we didn't get a picture of Grandmother!)

Unfortunately, as we were leaving Dr. Brad (can we technically call you that yet?) noticed that Ansley was running a fever and her ear was looking like it was in the early stage of an infection. She looked pretty pitiful, but she was a great patient!
The girls enjoyed time on the hammock
Ansley also found her belly button while we were there!

You got some great pictures from the weekend. I love looking at them... I feel like I'm reliving our time together! I think Belle and Beau have almost recovered. Belle checked the nursery door a few times, making sure there weren't any little girls to check on. :) We loved having y'all here, and we're looking forward to October. Tell Eric we're definitely sitting on the blue and red side of the field! :)
