Christmas Day

We had a great time Christmas morning at Nana and Papa Bear's house. Abigail and Ansley got lots of special gifts, and we all had a wonderful time spending time together.

Abigail, Ansley, and Daddy got their first fishing poles. Of course, the girls have Disney Princess ones. Mommy has a pink one too! The girls also got their lifetime hunting and fishing licenses for Tennessee. Looks like Papa Bear will have some great fishing buddies this summer!

The doctor's kits were a hit

Dr Ansley, Dr Abigail, and...Dr Daddy?!

We were all introduced to the bilibo. The girls are demonstrating it being used to spin in. Ansley is showing it as a hat. Uncle Matthew shows us it can be some sort of mask, and Aunt Jennifer shows off her skills.

They loved their Mallard ducks that they get to take to the cabin. They came up with the name "Mallory" on their own. & Trying out the Ariel umbrellas. Yes, this could be extra bad luck...or double trouble. Just depends on how you look at it. :)

For lunch, we all went to Papa's house to spend some special time with that Papa Bear's family. Papa Bear tried to get a picture of us before we left. Of course, we weren't able to put the umbrellas down. Maybe the girls had checked the weather.

Papa has a little speech he gives each year before he hands out the special envelopes. He was proud of his extra big stocking this year. He must have been extra good!

Abigail and Ansley got the neatest Elmo and Cookie Monster lego sets. Thank you, Davis family!

Back at Nana and Papa Bear's house, Abigail and Ansley called to wish Grammy and Peepaw a Merry Christmas. We will be celebrating our Christmas with them in a couple of weeks.

They had to get in a few more moves to their favorite Christmas tunes before we put them away until next year (or until Mommy wants to listen to them again! Who says it has to be Christmas?!).
