Beach Trip to Destin, FL
We just got back from a beach trip to Destin, FL with our dear friends the Pharrs. We left on Thursday night and got back a week later. A couple of our other good friends were there at the same time so it was fun to also spend time with the Flanigans and Sharpes and their little ones. It was definitely entertaining when we were all together. There were 9 children and 7 of them were 3 and under! We enjoyed hanging out on the beach during the day and cooking out at night. We did try a restaurant one night, and we did survive. However, we were sitting outside so it didn't matter how much we needed to move around or how loud we got. We had really great weather and the beaches weren't too crowded. This was Abigail and Ansley's second trip to the beach but the first one that they could actually play in the ocean and in the sand.
Eric and Jeremy gave all of the kids a bath one night. It was a brave move, but they did a great job!
We all got together for a church service on Sunday morning. We sang most "childrens" songs so the little ones were able to participate. Afterwards, we all hit the beach.
Monday
Kingston, Abigail, and Ansley slept in the same room. We were able to hear a few funny conversations and only a couple of times did it result in missing naps, but it worked a lot better than we thought it would!

Save the bathing picture! Mrs. Judy Osborne loves to pull out the one of Ben and I for a good uncomfortable walk down memory lane!
