Weekend Getaway

I just got back from a weekend getaway in Gatlinburg with 10 of my college girlfriends. I have been blessed to have this group of girls in my life! We missed those of you that couldn't make it!!!


I was happy to get home and see my sweet family again though. Eric was a trooper and watched the girls all weekend, but I think he was worn out!

Eric called me Saturday morning to tell me a funny story about the girls. Friday night he was trying to get the girls to go to sleep. They have enjoyed sleeping in the guestroom together, but we sometimes have trouble getting them to realize it's time to sleep and not talk. Eric went in to check on the girls, and Abigail wasn't asleep yet. He asked her what was wrong, and she impatiently said, "Wait for it, Daddy. Wait for it!" Wondering what she was talking about, he stayed in the room for a little while. A few seconds later, Ansley started snoring really loud. Abigail then looked at Eric and said, "See Daddy?! Annie is loud!" So Abigail got to sleep in Mommy and Daddy's bed for a while so she didn't have to "wait for it" any longer!
